Wet-type humidity control device "kathabar"

A must-see for those struggling with humidity control in food factories and pharmaceutical plants! A wet-type humidifier that addresses all air conditioning-related issues, including air sterilization and dust removal.

We address all issues related to air conditioning, from adjusting to your desired temperature and humidity to air sterilization and dust removal. It is possible to create air equivalent to the cleanliness standard of class 10,000 for clean rooms. This has been implemented in various factories and facilities. Introducing the "kathabar," a wet-type humidity control device that responds to various fields such as food, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals through "humidity control." It is suitable for creating low-temperature (below 27°C) and low-humidity (below 50%) environments. Thanks to the action of lithium chloride (LiCl) aqueous solution (product name: KASEN solution*), it is possible to directly achieve the desired temperature and humidity, as well as air sterilization* effects. *It has been reported by Dr. Solberg of the University of Toledo that passing air through the KASEN solution air washer inactivates 97% of airborne bacteria. *The sterilization effect of the KASEN solution varies depending on the type of bacteria and the usage conditions (temperature, humidity, room size and shape, air conditioning, etc.). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case Study of Wet-Type Humidifier Kathabar (1)

For pharmaceuticals, medical use, food and brewing, precision equipment, etc.! We will introduce various delivery examples.

We would like to introduce examples of our wet-type dehumidifier "KATHABAR." In the pharmaceutical and medical fields, we supplied low dew point air (-50°C DP) for temperature-sensitive substances such as pharmaceuticals, gelatin, and soft capsules, which were difficult to achieve with low-temperature drying and cooling dehumidification methods. In the food and brewing sectors, we cater to dry foods, powdered seasonings, sake, beer, and confections. With a powerful sterilization effect that complies with HACCP standards, we have prevented the growth of mold by maintaining the appropriate humidity in the sterilization room, effectively eliminating bacteria from the supplied air. Additionally, we have delivered our products to the steel, electrical, chemical, and precision machinery industries, as well as hospitals and nursing facilities. [Delivery Examples] ■ Pharmaceutical and medical: pharmaceuticals, gelatin, soft capsules, etc. ■ Food and brewing: dry foods, powdered seasonings, sake, beer, confections, etc. ■ Steel, electrical, chemical, precision machinery, etc. ■ Hospitals and nursing facilities *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Kasaba] Sake Brewing (Cooling, Pressing, Low-Temperature Air Conditioning)

Almost sterile air blowing is possible! Introducing the track record of Kasaba's implementation in the sake production process!

We would like to introduce a case study of our wet-type humidifier "Kasaba" being implemented in the sake production process. In the pressing and sake lees storage process, the pressing room tends to have high relative humidity due to a large amount of cleaning water, creating favorable conditions for the growth of bacteria and mold. By supplying low-temperature dried air from our product, the drying speed of indoor moisture increases, preventing the proliferation of bacteria and mold. Additionally, since our product is made of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic), there is no concern about corrosion. With ongoing maintenance, it can be used for an extended period. 【Main Target Processes】 ■ Soaking: Providing the necessary moisture to rice for steaming ■ Cooling: Cooling the steamed rice ■ Yeast starter: Mixing steamed rice with koji, water, and yeast ■ Moromi (fermentation): Adding more steamed rice, water, and koji to the yeast starter for fermentation ■ Pressing: Pressing the moromi to separate new sake and sake lees ■ Sake lees storage *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Kasaba] Sugar Production (Silo / Bin)

Contributing to temperature and humidity control in sugar manufacturing! Aging with clean, sterilized humid air.

We would like to introduce a case study of our wet-type humidity controller, "Kasaba," implemented in the sugar production process. The produced sugars are cooled in a cooler and then stored in a sugar bin (silo) while undergoing aging (temperature and humidity adjustment). Granulated sugar and raw sugar are prone to clumping when there is excess moisture due to their crystalline state, and white sugar is covered with moisture-containing invert sugar, which can also cause it to clump if dried too much. Therefore, aging is conducted using clean, sterilized humid air provided by our product. This single unit can accommodate various air conditioning needs and can create a clean environment through its sterilization capabilities based on the properties of the medium, the Kasen solution. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Case Studies of Kasaba] Other Food Products

For temperature and humidity management of powdered seasonings! By creating a clean environment in the packaging room with low temperature and low humidity, it contributes to quality maintenance and prevention of foreign matter contamination!

We would like to introduce examples of the use of our wet-type humidifier "Kasaba" with other food products. Powdered seasonings tend to absorb moisture and become solidified in high humidity environments. While it is possible to lower relative humidity by raising the air temperature, if this affects product quality, our product is suitable for low-temperature, low-humidity environments. Additionally, freeze-dried foods and other low-temperature dried products can easily deteriorate in quality if they absorb excess moisture during packaging, before opening. By creating a low-temperature, low-humidity, and clean environment in the packaging room with Kasaba air, we contribute to maintaining quality and preventing foreign matter contamination. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Kasaba] Glass (Automotive Laminated Glass)

We will dehumidify and remove the bubbles that occur during bonding! Introducing our achievements in the manufacturing process of automotive laminated glass.

We would like to introduce a case where our wet-type humidity control device, 'Kasaba', was implemented in the manufacturing process of automotive laminated glass. Two pieces of glass are bonded together with a transparent intermediate film (vinyl-based film) sandwiched between them. This intermediate film is made of a material that is sensitive to temperature and humidity, so it requires a low-temperature, low-humidity environment for storage. Additionally, during the bonding process, if moisture is present on the adhesive surface, it can cause bubble formation issues, which is why our product is used for dehumidification. Our product blows air with relative humidity corresponding to the concentration of the solution, as a characteristic of the casing solution. When the air comes into contact with the solution, it can dehumidify or humidify up to the humidity that balances with the vapor pressure of the solution. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Casabar] Steel Mill (Coil Rust Prevention Yard)

Shortening the waiting time by cooling in a short period! Introducing our achievements in the cold-rolled coil yard.

We would like to introduce a case study of our wet-type dehumidifier, "Casabar," implemented at a steel mill (coil rust prevention yard). Coils that have completed the annealing process are transported to the cooling yard at around 100°C and cooled down to 40°C using air dehumidified by our product. During this process, the humidity in the coil yard is kept below 30% to prevent rust formation. Additionally, by cooling the coils quickly, we reduce the time they remain in process. Our product achieves continuous operation with a dew point temperature below 0°C, which cannot be achieved with conventional cooling dehumidification methods. Since no condensate water is produced, there is no risk of freezing even at low dew points, and defrosting is not necessary. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
